Scan 1December 10th, 1998 is a date I will never forget. This is the day I first met David Knight. After the Bible Study that night, he was doing magic tricks for everyone and hoping to impress me. Poor boy had no idea that I was far more interested in spending more time with my new friends than watching some silly, but cool, magic tricks.

Two days later we went to the Denver Zoo, as friends, to see the evening lights display. We had to stand outside in the freezing weather for over an hour just to get in to the zoo. This little Aussie girl was certainly not adjusting to the Colorado winter temperatures, but it gave us a wonderful opportunity to chat and get to know each other.

About 19 days later, David popped the big question. Yes, we got engaged after only knowing each other for less than 3 weeks. This is not something that I recommend to people, but thankful for our crazy beginning.

Our 12 months of engagement were difficult for me since David was gone for about 20 days a month working with the brilliant illusionist and creator of magic, Andre Kole.

Six months after we married, we both packed up and moved to Virginia to work for Kevin & Cindy Spencer and their Theatre of Illusion. They are now the largest touring illusion show in the country and we had the honor of being on the road with them for about 9 months of each year for 7 years. 7 years of traveling in a semi-sized truck performing in theatre and performing arts centers around the States and into Asia. You can check them out online at www.spencersmagic.com and if they come to your area, I highly recommend going to see their show.

During our time working for the Spencers, David and I felt the call from God to take what he had learned from working with Andre Kole, as well as the Spencers, and provide the church with a high-quality illusion show. So, in May 2007, we packed up and moved from Virginia to Dallas, Texas.
